Decorticator

A decorticator is a machine designed to strip the skin, bark, or rind from nuts, wood, plant stalks, grain, and other materials in preparation for further processing. Grains or whole groundnuts are fed through hardened knives on a rotating disc, which carefully removes the outer layers. A vibration system then separates the shells and skins, leaving the kernels or meat ready for the next stage of processing.
